Clean French Toast

Sorry, I forgot to take a picture! I was too hungry and ate it all up.

So, this morning I made some 'clean' french toast. It turned out good. It didn't cook up the same way using regular white bread does, I mean the bread took a little longer to start frying. But, it's a great option compared to those frozen boxes of french toast (you know the ones I am talking about). It's basic to prepare, just like all other french toast and of course you can alter this recipe, using whatever kind of milk you like or bread:

1 slice of whole wheat bread
1 egg white
1/4 cup of almond milk
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

Mix the egg white, milk and cinnamon in a bowl. Dip the bread into the mixture on both sides. Fry it in a pan at medium heat. Turn it a few times. Done. I added a touch of extra cinnamon on top after I made it - just for extra flavor. Then I covered it in some pure maple syrup.
